Harmsen Tilney Shane upgrade their workspace
9 Holyrood Street is home to commercial interior design and workplace consultants, Harmsen Tilney Shane. Its evidence-based approach to design enables its clients to transform their workplace, and improve their business performance.
Harmsen Tilney Shane employs a holistic approach, examining how a space is used for meetings, day to day tasks, strategic planning and recreation. This is then combined with the overall business objectives to create a space that will assist in the delivery of those goals. Their Holyrood Street office will operate as a living breathing example of the work the firm designs. This is a live example in which prospective customers of Harmsen Tilney Shane and Ocula Systems can see the range and capabilities in the flesh.
Ocula Systems have worked with the business to supply 20 linear metres of single glazed partitioning with drywall integration and flush glazed doors. These were installed across meeting rooms and offices with crittal effect banded glazing in addition to framed glass doors. A regular request for office spaces is good standards of acoustics. In this case Ocula supplied 12.8mm acoustic laminate glass which provides 38dB for single glazed rooms.
The fit out was completed by Berkley Integra, a company who specialise in the installation of partitions, dry lining, and suspended ceilings. The Reading branch had to work closely with Berkley Integra with timed delivery slots and staggered deliveries of products.
TESTIMONIAL
“We are pleased with the new meeting rooms at Holyrood Street, and have decided to look at replacing the sliding/folding glass wall to our main meeting room at another site. The acoustics within the meeting rooms at Holyrood Street have exceeded our expectations, particularly as we only went for the single glazed option. Working closely with the Ocula Systems team and Berkley Integra we have created a workplace that is mutually beneficial for both businesses to thrive in the coming years.”
